Alibaba Cloud, the core of digital technology and intelligence of the Alibaba Group, is joining forces with Asia Pacific College (APC) with the mission to educate and enhance the cloud computing proficiency of teachers and students. This alliance is a significant part of its mission to empower digital talents locally in the Philippines. 💡

An integral part of this collaboration is the creation of a cutting-edge joint innovation lab at the APC campus. This lab aims to act as a dynamic breeding ground, accelerating the creation of inventive industry solutions and facilitating collaboration among students, faculty, and industry professionals.

The partnership with Alibaba Cloud will facilitate APC educators, learners, and even its IT team to augment their cloud proficiency through diverse avant-garde technology workshops, online and offline training, and certification courses. The Alibaba Cloud Academic Empowerment Program (AAEP) will also usher students to local community events to interact and learn from professionals and industry leaders. Alibaba Cloud also plans to conduct dedicated knowledge transfer sessions and hands-on laboratory classes for educators to equip them to lead future training and workshop sessions. 🎓

Through the AAEP, students will receive:

This will empower them to learn from top-tier professionals. The exposure and experience will aid students and teachers to develop a digital-centric mindset, guiding them toward pursuing a career or higher education in the future.

Alibaba Cloud also plans to bolster APC’s cloud infrastructure with the company’s cloud solutions for data backup, students’ management systems, and an online teaching platform. This will ensure the school’s remote access and the overall online system's efficiency and security. 🔒
